The team India is doing well since Dhoni has taken over the captaincy.It could be possible only because the team has got young players like yuvraj,Gambhir,Raina,Irphan,Yusuf,and others who are quite good with the bat and ball.And above all they all are good fielders too.It is a balanced team.Now they have improved in all the departments of the game.Above all Dhoni is a lucky captain and his game plan is successful every time.thanx.

Yes, India has improved a lot. The major turning point is the incoming of young players in the team and also dhoni's captaincy. We should not forger ganguly also helped so much for India to be at this place today. He is the main reason for the yougsters like yuvraj singh, Irfan pathan and a few more to be in India team. Dhoni's tactics are working almost every time. I can also say Dhoni is lucky. Because of yougsters in Indian team everyone is trying to perform and they all are in good form. He is also changing the team members when necessary. These are the reasons that made India improve.
