Prayer for Strength

Hi everyone! About a week ago I had an incident that made me very angry and depressed. It was one of those things that makes you wonder what's the point of it all and wish you were dead. I had a few good crying sessions and did a lot of ironing (my secret recipe for relaxing). And meanwhile I was praying, or trying to pray, first in very few words, like "My God, why?" or "Lord, what's the point?", then the words started to come and formed phrases and sentences. It was such a positive experience, because by the end of my prayer, I felt so much stronger and reinforced and all my resentments and my anger was gone. It was immediately after that I wrote this Prayer for Strength. I would like to share it with you and hopefully it will bring comfort and encouragement to some, like it did to me.

I visited your blog via the link posted to read your personal prayer. I did not rate it as I am not a member of Triond. Anyway, I loved your prayer. This also gave me an opportunity to take a sneak peek at the posts on Hinduism.Thanks a lot. I really do not know if I could have rated your prayer, as a non-member, I didn't make a trial. If you do inform me I will go back and do it. I have left a comment though, as the comment window did not prevent me from posting one as an outsider.
