Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my 8 yr old and 4 yr old to eat some veggies? I've tried everything...offering them a million times, preparing them differently, bribing, tricking, punishing, and they just won't even taste one. It's so frustrating, because I don't feel like they are getting stuff their bodies need, because they don't even eat one veggie!

what i do is, first, i eat veggies myself so my daughter would see me as a role model. then, when we serve vegetables, we don't say things like "eat your veggies, they're good for you." we don't say anything about it at all. because when you say those things, the child will wonder why you're telling them to eat veggies but don't say anything about meat. the child will think "why do they want me to eat this? maybe it doesn't taste good that's why they're insisting that i eat it." it would be harder for you to convince your kids now because the best time to start is when they start eating solids. but it's worth a try. =)
