I learnt about it from an ex-colleague who was from the US. After i finished 24hours which is still my favourite, I asked him to recommend me plays like that and he recommended CSI to me. When I watched the first episode of season one, to be frank, I didn't like it much. But when I watched on, I began to love it.
And where did you first learn it? from newspaper? told by friends? or ads?

I was just changing channels at home, since I was bored. Then I went thru this one network that has CSI. Thinking I didn't have much choice, I watched this one episode (I forgot what it was, though). I was amazed, and eventually got stuck with the series. So every week, I wait for CSI.
Then I learned that my ex-officemate was also a CSI addict. He has complete copy of Seasons 1 to 4. I borrowed them and again, got hooked up with the show. I remember watching 3-4 episodes each night before I go to sleep. I end up having insomnia because I couldn't sleep anymore if the clock already strikes midnight. But it's all worth it because the show is really amazing.

Actually I saw a commercial for it one day and saw the character Warrick and I recognized him from a poster I have which him on it when he had long dreads and I always thought he was very sexy, so I said to myself if he's a regular character on this show, I'll surely watch it. Then I began to watch the show and I fell in love with it, because I love mysteries and who-done-it stories, so CSI is right up my alley.
Now I watch all 3 shows (csi, csi miami and csi ny)

I love investigation and police stuff, it comes from my passion for Agatha Christie's books, but seeing investigation in a non psycological way but material wise is preatty cool. Although there is a lot of lies in there, like the real investigators says it's impossible to find so many proofs like they do in CSI. I believe in this interview I read cause there are too many unsolved cases.
But CSI is so fun. I like the original cast.

I am fascinated with forensic science. I usually watch Medical Detectives in Discovery, which tackles real-life crimes that were solved through forensics. I saw this teaser in cable tv about CSI, particularly Miami. From then on, I got hooked.

I often visit a forum about American TV plays, and that's where I knew CSI. I love it very much. Once, I thought if I watched this play 10 years ago, I would choose CSI as my job, it's so exciting.
We can't watch TV from the states, so we download the plays from internet.

i saw all csi versions on cable and loved every bit of them. it seems so fascinating that they can run even 3 cases in one show and get all solved. ironically, it seems time runs slow since you always want the other cases solved at once also. it's televison worth watching and spending time on. that jerry bruckheimer guy who produces those shows is one very talented and lucky guy to have those people in front and at the back of the camera employed. they come up with shows for tv worth more than other movies when it comes to quality. quality in everything.
