A definition of a good friends is........

I have had lot of friends over the years and i have found that a true definiton of a good friend is a person who is there for you in a time of need and who cares enough to stick by you in the good times and the bad. No matter what. And its a Person who Appreciates what a friendship is.
I have friends who i think are not true good friend because they aren't there for me like i am there for them and they tend to put others ahead of our friendship and there is way too much drama with them. I think that when you are friends with someone that you should be there for them and they should be there for you and if its a one way deal then its not a true friendship. What are your definitons of a friendship? what kind of friendships do you have?

To me,a good friend is the person that can help me when i am in trouble.I have many friends,but some of them don't give their hands to me when i get in trouble. This kind of friend is just a friend,even just a passer passed thought me.

Hi there Rocko!
I believe that a true friend loves you for who you really are and with that love comes respect, honesty, and loyalty. Love is a really broad thing that it covers almost everything which can be summed up to a friend wants everything good for you even though you may get hurt in the process and is always there beside you in times that you do get hurt and needed someone to talk to, or just listen.
A friend like that is really hard to find and with a couple of friends that I have, I feel that I am already lucky to have that many.

What you say is brilliant and wonderful.In my view,a definition of a good friend is a person who will help and comfort you first when you are in trouble,is a person who often concern your life and hobby in everyday life. I have so many frinds who are keen to me and feel so lucky...

i have a true friend, she is a very nice and hardworking girl.we have been friends for about 8 years. she taught me a lot and i feel very grateful to her.true friend, i think the definition is someone who like you from deep inside and care about you and do everything possible for you.sometimes i even think that she must have owed me a lot in our previous life.i am very lucky because of her. wish our friendship can last for the whole life, no matter where we are.
