Which side of the bed?

Hello regal_aeros! When my husband was still here, I usually sleep at the left side of the bed. But the reason is that his right hand sore and that if I sleep at the right side, he can't hug me..hehee..

My fiance and I are both left-handed. When we first started sharing a bed together, he slept on the left and I slept on the right (when standing at the foot of the bed, those were the sides). Recently, we switched because he didn't like the fan blowing directly on him and I do (hot flashes in the middle of the night).

In the past when the bed is laid next to the wall, it was tradition in our country that the woman is not supposed to cross over the man, so the man is inside on bed and the woman is to his left. And when the couple are taking a picture, almost always the woman is to the left of the man.

We both are right handed, and mostly I sleep to her left, as you said. But I couldn't imagine any reason why this happens. (It was one of our traditions too, in our country, that wife should always be to the right of her husband. May be this too a reason)

I actually am right handed and my boyfriend is left handed (not sure that really matters) and I sleep on the right side of the bed and him on the left. However, I sleep on my left side and him behind me so technically we are kinda both on the left side of the bed because we sleep so cuddle up. He does also insist on sleeping closest to the door, but I think honestly I could get off the bed before he could since I sleep closest to the edge of the bed. LOL. His intentions are good anyway.

When I go to sleep, my face faces the left, so if I sleep on the left side then I get more air. :D
