what the notebok brand do you choose?

I'm a computer addict,i spending my time to do with my computer. and now i want to buy a notebook computer,but i don't know what brand which have a great performance, good reliability, good durability, and the price is lessen than $800?i'm very confused to choose the brand because there are many good brand like Toshiba, Fujitsu, Acer, Lenovo, Vaio, Hp, an soon. they offer their products similar with the other brand, maybe with the same specification but have different feature. So i want to asking you what is the best brand who have the good factor that i tell you before?

Dell & toshiba will be better option.
They are little costlier than other brands but performancewise they are far more ahead from them.

Don't know about Acer, I have seen one laptop from Acer with good configuration at good price but don't know about its after sale service.Check on internet about Acer before buying.

what about acer?is that brand good enough?i check in the market and acer have the lower price than others,but how about the performance i don't know. thank you, your opinion very important to me

Well I have 3 dell laptops here and they are great and no problems with them at all :) my dog did knock my computer to the floor, and the HD crashed. Dell replaced it as it was still under Warrantee.
Now I have also used a IBM thinkpad / Leveno and never a problem with them.
to me those 2 are the best with the best support. Extended warantee is up to you could be a waste of money, and could save you some money

Hey, my friend, I think it is best to go for a good brand like dell or may be sony. I though I would go for a cheap one and bought a Compaq. My full money was wasted. The laptop was giving me too many problems. The battery lasts hardly 30 mins. It use to get heated up dam fast and so I was never able to do high end work on the same. Apart from that, my motherboard was replaced in warranty 4 times but still I gave me quite a few problems like it never use to restard. If froze after shut down. And I have to get the battery out and then start again. Then the keyboard had problems. Etc etc etc. so you see Compaq will be a bad choice. At least it is for me.

oh dear i have no money to buy a sony products it's a high end laptop,i want to have a laptop but my budget just $800 and i want to know which brand are the best performance but have a cheap one,thank you for your suggestion

I will soon be buying a notebook too, my first. I have no idea how to decide which one would suit me best rather than another. Does it depend on what you use it for too?

Hey,
Well I chose an ASUS laptop, because I thought that they are a good brand. They are pretty good, but I found that HP actually produce better notebooks than ASUS. The main reason is because I have seen some friends at school with their HP laptops, and then I compared how durable they were, and how easily they scratch. Overall I would have to say that HP produce some REALLY good laptops, especially the ones that have the liquid metallic finish. I have also found that DELL also produce reasonably good laptops, especially the DELL XPS range, you should check it out.

thank you for your suggestion, but i don't know what brand that i sould to choose because there are many choice and all of you recomand that all brands have a good performance

I suggest you to choose DELL because DELL is the best brand available in the market its has good Quality at a low price. So i like to prefer DELL because my has a dell laptop and i am always addicted to it.
