Long Distance Romance

Hi Rita :), I have a long distance relationship with my gf and I love her more than anything. We live in separate countries as well, she lives in the philippines while I live in the U.S. we have been together for about 5 months and she has completely changed my life, she is an absolutely amazing girl. I love her soo much. I miss her a ton and we only get to talk once a week now via webcams, but i am ok with it because she is at home now and I know she is very happy there. I would love to see her more, but its not possible and I understand that 1000% I love her more than the world and I would do anything for her, shes m baby now and always will be :) We pray everyday that God will let us meet soon and hopefully we will. So i believe it can work, but it takes a little effort on both parts. Its a lot of trust and reassurance that you are the only ones for each other, remind each other that you love them and you miss them soo much and it will make it easier :)

Of Course! Long distance relationships can work as long as both parties are willing to put in the time and effort that it would take. I had one a few years back and he wasn't really all to willing to listen to what I needed at the time, and we failed obvisouly. But right now I am in a long distance relationship and I am happier than I've been in a while. We talk every night, he understands that I miss him terribly and he misses me too. Friday nights he doesn't go out with friends, but instead calls me on video chats and we talk for hours..well that's every night too. He is open and honest with me, as I am with him. I send him little notes letting him know I am thinking about him, and he tells me how he feels about me. We work hard on our relationship and it works.

Hi there RitaGreen. Well, there's no impossible in this world now. But every situations really depends on the couple. If they want the relationship to last they should have open communication, understanding and patient. It will not work If only one person is the only one who is making things possible for their relationship, well, simple there should be honesty and loyalty even though they are far apart.

Hi there RitaGreen. =) Good day, I had a long distance romance with my ex boyfriend 3 years ago I think. He was from a province and me from a city. Yes, it worked for us. Our relationship lasted for 1 and 1/2 year. It comes with trust and faith. Ofcourse we do see each other, if not every week maybe every month. You know having a couple who is far from you is hard, but you should stay connected and updated with each other. That's why Mobile phone is an option nowadays. Hello RitaGreen.. It just depends on both of you.. All you need is the effort in communicating and seeing each other! When you're far from your partner all you can do is to have trust and same with your partner..:)
