I am noticing that my 7mo old son always raises his butt. Usually when he crawls and shift position he'll do that. Sometimes even in his sleep he is like that. Is this normal for a baby his age? why do you think he does that?

hi giay, i dont think it's anything to worry about.. normal.. part of the learning and growing process - to crawl on all fours, to sit, to learn to stand and going for his step... cheers !!

Normal. My daughter does it too. She would sleep like she was in a downward dog position from yoga. When she's laying on the floor she is always raising her hips and pounding her butt on the ground. Especially when were trying to change a diaper. Lately she has been crawling without her knee's on the ground. I'm thinking that walking is the next step!

To this day my 7 YEAR old daughter sometimes sleeps that way! I think children find it very comfortable, and as long as he's sleeping, I would let it go!
