I joined a gym and excercise there 3-4 times a week. I feel great afterwards and know that I'm also better for it. I also walk 2 nights a week with my son which gives us time to talk alone also. I think if everyone could exercise in some way for at least 20-30 minutes a day with getting their heartrate up it would make them feel better.
I don't think exercise will stop you from getting a disease, some are just hereditary (sp) and some are just meant to be but it help you to feel better.

well, i must say that i was doing osme exercises in the past. I was even goin to gym, but not, i`m a laizy guy. I don`t have too much free time, and i forget about thouse exercises. But when i`ll buy a car, i promise that i`ll go for jogging for at least 30 min /day, but just in the morning, or in the evening. I think that`s the best moment. In the morning.

You are right.
But, when I have days that I am frustrated from worrying, I don't feel like doing anything. I should however go to the sport school everyday.
My back is bad, so for me it is a must. But, I some times feel so down.
I know it is no good excuse, but things just seem to be getting worse and worse around me. When I feel okay, I normally go everyday.

I know how you feel, I suffer from depression and some days I have to force myself to go workout and I'm always glad I did because it seems to lighten my mood. Try joining a club or exercising with a freind, even a walk on a sunny day may help a little.
I know how you feel about things getting worse and worse around you also because I seem to have jinxed everyone around me and not so secretly hold all the blame. But I know that I have to wait it all out and some day things will get better, same for you!

Hello,Santhoshie! You are right,everybody should do some exercise daily to stay fit for the whole life.But mere exercise would not help you a lot.To remain healthy along with exercise you must stay on diet.If you adopt these two things in your life you will sure to enjoy a pleasent life.thanx.

Exercise doesn't just help you get fit, it helps you sleep!
I started exercising every day because it was helping me sleep at night. I can't run because it's cold and icy here and I don't have a gym membership, but I do other things. Since I started doing that and taking melatonin, I've been sleeping a lot better.
Of course, it has had the side-effect of defining and toning my muscles, but I'm not really going to complain about that.

Yeah I exercise to be fit... and I'm also aiming to be a model since I'm still young lol. I just hope I won't get lazy in a year or two.
