8 arrests made in Michael Phelps "case"

Does anyone else think this is a huge witch hunt? The poor guy - he's at a party, takes a hit off a bong, some snaps his picture, suddenly all of his sponsors are madly doing the backstroke in the opposite direction... Why are they suddenly arresting everyone who was around him at the party and building a case against him? Why are they wasting valuable tax dollars on a bunch of frat kids? WTF?

i think the whole thing is ridiculous!! nobody was complaining when he was making them money and its not like he got caught with a DUI and putting peoples life in danger he was just having a good time i think people just need to calm down. he works his butt off for 4 years to be the best in the olympics and people are complaining that hes having fun.

I only saw a picture of him holding a bong, we don't know if he actually TOOK a hit, and they are using that picture alone to convict him...please! And your right, what about the other people at the party?
