Would you have to parties?

Okay so the reason I 'am asking this is next month is my baby boys 1st birthday. I was planing one party at a park, but because of the weather was looking for an in door place. I was going to go with a pizza place, but my husbands mom suggusted his grandmas house and my husband went for it. So now we will be having one party on the 14th and one on the 21st. why? Beacuse one is for my husbands side of the family and one is for mine. At to different pleaces. No one can be the grown ups they are suppose to be and deal with eachother for 2 hrs. My husbands family would be okay and polite to everyone. My family wouldn't be to his. So my little boy will have to parties. What would you do if this was your situation? have to parties like we are? or do one and invite everyone? And if they dont want to come because someone is there then it is there loss.
