hello everybody here at Mylot. i have been out Valentine's Day shopping this morning at the Dollar Store for my two sons for school tomorrow. my eight year old is exchanging Valentine's Day cards with his class-mates and plus he is getting to have an ice cream party in his classroom tomorrow afternoon as well. i picked up some strawberry ice cream topping while i was shopping this morning for the party. my oldest son is in the fifth grade and about all that he'll be doing in school tomorrow is exchanging Valentine's Day cards with his class mates. he will probably have a fun day at school tomorrow or at least tomorrow afternoon. so tell me, what are your children's plan's in school like that for tomorrow? thanks for sharing and have a beautiful afternoon.

Oh I remember those days fondly as a child and trading cards with classmates. I think schools have gotten stricter though about goodies and addressing the cards and such. Some I have heard now tell your child not to address them just to sign them and drop one in each bag. That kind of takes the personal away from it! I used to sit and play with the cards I got for hours after I got home.

My kids are too young to think anything for this day.I am not very much for this valentine day as it is called a lovers day. When I love whom I want to each n every day what is the necessity of a valentine's day?

Well, Valentine's day is on Saturday, so there would be school on Saturday in my country. Other than that, I don't really have any children to share about their plans. Perhaps for me, I'll just snuggle up with my significant other, and enjoy each other's company. :-) Take a slow relaxation walk in the park or something.

My son is out of school tomorrow. His school is having a teacher in-service, so they had their Valentines party today. The exchanged Valentine's and he came home with a bag full of candy, cards, pencils, erasers and all sorts of stuff.

I remember when our kids were in grade school and they exchanged Valentine's Day cards. There were so excited the night before. The class also had a party and maybe a special assembly in the gym also. That was many years ago so I don't recall all the details. We have girls so they would come home from school all excited if their favorite guy gave them a card. It was rather cute.

I sure do miss those days when my kids would get their valentine's ready for school then on Valentine's Day bring home their bags or boxes that they made at school to hold the cards in along with some suckers and candy. This year my grandson is in the 6th grade, first year of junior high, or middle school as it is called in some places. Not sure what they will do if anything but I do know that he will be going to his school Valentine's dance tomorrow night. He is not asking anyone to go with him so his mom said she would chaperone and she would dance with him and of course she said that he told her "NO WAY!!!" hahahaha

Hi, mine will be just exchanging valentines day cards, and or goodie bags for those who brought them. our school's don't allow some classrooms bring in treats due to the ants and other little critters that might be attracted by the yummy smell of the yummy food. so they will be just exchanging cards and maybe having a little coloring project or puzzle to do. either way I'm sure it will be a fun day for them, maybe. it depends of the teacher, if she is in a good mood or not. but I will make it fun by buying goodies for all my kids. The daycare doesn't do anything special for holidays. I am thinking though that it wouldn't hurt to pick up some of those heart shaped cookies for his class. That way they aren't that messy and they can enjoy them during break time.

My daughter is having a pizza party and exchanging valentines. I know she will have a blast because she loves the parties at school! Her teacher is great to so that's just all the more fun for her. I like it when hey get a chance to be social..everything is so strict for them now that they barely have time to socialize. She can get it out of her system.lol

Tomorrow my son is having a Valentine's Day party in the afternoon. Morning hours will still be treated as school, with spelling, reading, math and language tests. Which my son isn't looking forward to. After recess and lunch, his party will start. They are handing out Valentines first, and then they will be able to have candy, chips, cookies, cupcakes, and soda.. That outta give them all a sugar high for the ride home. Hope your children have a lovely time at their Valentines parties.
