I have found that with signing up for the few sites that I have, and with searching for online money making sites, that now I have to clean out email a couple times a day or it will grow wild overnight...LOL, I probably check it ever 4 hrs and there are always 30-40 emails every time...if I only checked it once a day, that would be over 100 emails a day... and if i went longer than that I cant even imagine...LOL
how often do you check your email?

i do empty my email about twice a day at least. i receive many mails from those sites that i have joined to. cause i have joined so many forums. but i don't actually read all those mails. i just choose those important ones and so mostly goes to thrash immediately. cause i hate having too many emails that are not really needed in my inbox. i used to have 5 thousand emails cause i don't erased those old emails. so i did erase them every day and now i have only 500 only. i have not erased those other old emails. when i have time i am going to. at least i think that i get to erase 50 emails. but when i am active in those sites i have joined to the emails i receive gets bigger like about 100 emails or even more depending on my activity on those sites.

I check and empty all my email accounts daily or forget about it. I think I would have thousands of emails in some.

I am going to have to set up a few more email accounts with the sites that I have joined and moved them over to them as if they are a work email to keep more track of them. I know, mine fills up so fast during the day that I have to go in and clean it out daily or else it would take me a day to empty it...LOL
thanks for responding.

Everyday, everytime i logged on i make it appoint to empty my emails. Of course not all content of it but i usually deleted those that i am not interested with and the bulk mail. But a lot of my treasured email i retain and place them in a folder. i think that is the right thing to do.

I have to clean mine out several times a day or I am left with a mess !!!! We had an ice storm a few weeks ago and it knocked our power out for a week!! We had to stay in a hotel and I could only get online for a little while each day. By the time we got the power back and were able to go home I had thousands of emails and I had to sort through them all to find the good ones. It was a headache and it took me days to get through it all. I have started going through and un subscribing to the emails that I really don't wish to get anymore. I hope that will help out some.

yes, I couldnt even imagine what my email would be like if we lost power for a day or two...much less a week. Probably a good thing to clean up some of the ones that you dont really need... you dont notice them when you get a chance to clean them out everyday...
thanks for responding.

I will keep the important emails without deleting,by having a thought of that it will be required for featureless reference. But in feature, those mails will become unimportant , after 2 or 3 months I will delete and start keeping the new mail for my feature reference. But i did never refer anything. Still the process is going on. But it is the good practice also, keeping registration information and other important link. Though all the mail are not used in future, some mails will prove their importance.

I get about 1500 new mails everyday i don't read all those mails i have created a mail filter in the inbox all the mails will get filtered and go into the specified folders and only the mails i feel important are directed into the inbox and i read only those mails.
Before i have signed up for many websites and news letters of various websites so i get them i am really fed up with those spam mails.

I have about six email addresses, so I have lots of work to do. LOL. The one I use the most I check the most and I empty that one about 8 times per day. For some reason the spam bots have found my address and I get plenty of spam in it, so I try to keep it as clean as possible. Another thing I hate is when friends forward you those emails that take up about 75% of your email inbox. ARRRGGGH.
