Now I'm getting tire of firefox. can't get Google Chrome because I have windows 2000 professional. Anytime I try to view a comment on mylot or view entire discussion on mylot with firefox I get "firefox.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. I can go on IE, hit one of those two and no error. But I'm not crazy about IE either. Does anyone have a better experience with opera than firefox?

I am currently using Opera 9.63 (they have Opera 10 Alpha) for most of myLotting purposes. Usually I have many tabs open because I like doing several things at the same time. I had problems when Firefox was used. Most probably the codes used for Firefox are unable to handle memory usage as well as Opera. At the moment I have 70 tabs open.
Browsers based on the same engine as Firefox may have the same problem. There are certain issues with Safari making it a few steps below Opera and Firefox.
all the best,

I haven't used Opera, but I do use Flock. You might try it. It's a social networking browser built off Firefox. Don't know if it will work for you or not of course, but as a browser I do like it.

i think that opera is more stable than firefox..coz wen we open too many tabs then fire fox just behaves as in hell.but compared to that opera gives better stability..besides that there are few more errors associated with firefox even though i'll stick with it because i find it more faster than opera.
