One upon a time ther was a fat guy named Jimmy. Jimmy live in candy land alone, no family at all. So one day Jimmy decided he was going to ride the maple syrup river and see where it takes him. He tied a few candy cane stalks together with some twizlers and went on his way. He traveled for hours. Then the river seemed to be getting wider, and moving faster. It continued to get faster and faster. Small chocolate chunks started to appear. Then the chocolate chunks got bigger. The river was too much for Jimmy to handle. His raft flipped and he was viciously tossed around in the rapids. He finally made it to shore. He did not know where he was. Nothing about the landscape looked similar to where he lived. There were no skittles or gum drops or lolli pops. There wasn't even any snickers. Infact there was nothing. Nothing but the maple syrup river. He didn't know what to do. The only thing he could do is try to find his way home. But home was a long way up river, he would never be able to reach home before he starved to death. So he decided to leave the river and go what he thought was east in search of a good place to spend the night. His cloths were dampened with maple syrup and he would also need a fire to dry them. So he walked until sundown and decided to spend the night under the stars. When he woke up the next morning he recognised a familiar smell. The smell was... gummy worms. He ate gummy worms all the time back home. It was foggy that morning and he could barely see five feet in front of him. He followed the smell. It got strong. Then in front of him he saw a large animal he had never seen before. It was feeding on another large animal he had never seen before. Then he realized they were gummy dinosaurs. He had read of them in books, they were dangerous animals. They ate everything in sight. He backed away slowely, unnoticed. He walked further. Then he saw an entire forest of candy! Things that you couldn't beleive. He was drawn to it. The forest was alive. Movement everywhere. He didn't know if he could eat anything here. He looked longer for something that looked familiar. Nothing. Sudenly he felt a sharp pain in his back and fell to the ground. He later woke up tied to a stick over a fire pit. There were strange people dancing around him. They looked like him but different. Then he was burned alive and eaten by the weird jungle people. Lovely ending.

Jimmy's life is adventurous but the ending of his life is somewhat miserable. I didn't thought that the ending is like that, that he would be eaten by the jungle people.

Hmmm. Maybe you need to work on that ending. I like all the idea of living in a candyland and traveling down the maple syrup river, but these weird people (obviously cannibals) don't really seem to have a purpose except eating the main character...and then where's your story to go? I think you have some good ideas, but it probably needs more work. Good luck with your writing.
