I prefer my laptop much more than my desktop. It is much faster and easier to use. Even though my laptop is tiny, I can always plug it in to my monitor and have a big screen, but it will still run faster than the desktop.
Also, it is nice that a laptop is so portable. I can take it to college with me and use it anywhere in the house. Which is much easier than having to sit in the same place with the desktop.

I prefer the full keyboard of the desktop. I don't like to compute while away from my workstation anyway so laptops are really just a burden to me. Cheers!!

I have one of each and far prefer my desktop PC. The laptop is cool because it's portable, but when it comes to workability and comfort, I'll take the desktop any day.
If you need to be portabale/mobile, then a good laptop can pay off. But for me and the work I do from home, the laptop can be uncomfortable. The keyboard is too small, the screen's awkward and takes some getting used to, and the mouse function is inconvenient. The keys are also a pain to clean on a laptop. With my desktop keyboard, I can simply pop 'em off and use compressed air to spray it all out.
The only thing I like better about the laptop is the always constant connection it gives me. If Comcast fails, it just plucks something else from the air.
When it comes down to it, the brand of computer makes the biggest difference, I suppose. My desktop is a Dell XPS and my laptop is a Dell Studio 17.

I like both of them. I like that you can take a laptop with you anywhere around the house. So this means that i don't have to miss my favorite TV show!
But I like sitting in my big comfy PC chair. I also like the mouse and unattachted keyboard.
So i'm not really sure which I prefer. I really like the slim laptops, but I still don't think that i would ever wanna give up my PC.

Hmmm it depends. Are you a gamer or you just want to surf the net and do paper work? Because if you are a gamer... PC is probably the better choice because a powerful pc's price is doubled when youre going to buy a laptop with the same specs. so... if you are a gamer = PC... if not = Laptop (an apple laptop's good and kind of great for the eye)
