Hi everyone. Nowadays, many people spend a lot of time watching television programmes. My country has very affordable channels where it is non-stop entertainment for many on the television. Many of my friends as they grew older spend less and less time reading. Even youths now spend more time in front of the tv than ever. Books are also getting more expensive.
I like to curl up with a book on weekends, if I can. Sometimes I read ebooks too. I may even get the ebooks and then if I really like the story a lot, I will go to the bookstores and buy the real book.
By the way, I found someone's blog with free downloadable ebooks. If you really want, go to my profile and go to my website (actually is my blog and click the link to it. It's under Favourite Links on the left.
So do you like to read a book or read ebooks?

Maybe it's because I'm an "old" gal....but I like to cuddle up and read a real book. If I own the book and it's non-fiction, I might underline something that is important to me. We have quite a few distractions in the area of my computer, making it hard for me to focus properly on the story line or information.

I love reading positive thinking books as they motivate me to achieve my goals. I don't like ebooks as it hard to read such long text on the computer, it hurts my eyes. I prefer to hold a book and be comfortable:)

Hi Daynalee, I spend a lot of time on the computer, so when it comes to enjoying a book, I would prefer one that I can hold and read in a comfortable chair or lying down on the sofa or bed.
I agree that books are getting really expensive; fortunately we have used book stores here. They sometimes hold clearance sales or promotions; and the books are a bargain!
