Awesome rivers.

I have seen some rivers flowing in the countries in different parts of the world. Some rivers are really awesome. I was once visiting the City of Phnom Penh in Cambodia, and stayed at a hotel close to the bank of the Mekong River. I could see the river from the window of my room. That was a beautiful scene. Mekong River was huge and looked awesome, with many long boats going up and downstream. I can never foreget that scene. How about you ? Which river did you find scenic and awesome ?

In 2003 I travelled down the Danube River from Vienna to Budapest in a hydrofoil. It was a wonderful trip. There are portions where you travel through locks, and then other stretches with green rolling hills with castles on the hillsides. There are other portions with interesting bridges like at Bratislava, and of course the many scenic bridges in Budapest. There was much traffic from pleasure boats to commercial traffic using this important route across Eastern Europe. Our hotel in Budapest included a gorgeous river view and we took another sight seeing cruise in Budapest to Margaret island which was a charming tourist site where people could relax or enjoy a festive atmosphere, both as tourists and locals. The Danube has long been such an important part of this area, and many classical music pieces have been written about it. I hope to return again for a more lengthy visit.

Oh , River Danube ! That I am sure must be so beautiful , the river and the places along the River. I have not been to that part of the world. I have seen pictures, and hope I can be there some day !

awesome rivers now a days is really hard to find because most of them are damaged by the people who lives near their,and those river i have seen that i really get wonder are those rivers in the province because some of them are still clean and healthy.
