I prefer to read a good book especially when I have time to relax
but I do love to look though magazines when I get the chance to but I have not been able to lately do to not having any money to buy them lol
that is another reason I like to read books more because it is easier at least for me to re-read a good book over re-reading a magazine

book is so good. maybe we cant spend so much time on a good book. but we'd better read books now and then. i admit that magizines are short and easy to understand, but that's just a fast food to some degree.

I'm glad that I don't have to choose one only. I would hate to give up either one. I like magazines because they are more likely to be about topics that are more current, and each magazine usually offers articles about a number of varied subjects, so I can browse through it and pick an article that matches my mood. The articles are usually accompanied by photographs that add a visual element that most books lack. But books usually delve into a subject matter with much greater depth, and you come away from it feeling like you have a better understanding than can be gotten from a brief magazine article.

When I have the time, I enjoy reading books. But, these days, with my work taking so much time, I just have to prefer reading magazines in the evenings after I get back home. That's one way of relaxation after a long day !
