BIggest Influences

Outside of your family, who or whom have been the biggest influences in your life, or who is your hero? I dont want to make it seem like im excluding your family because i know most peoples families are a huge influence on them, but i curious about influences from outside your family as well.
I have only know them for a short time, but my gf and my friend Phoebe. They are two of the most amazing people I have ever met, they have helped me soo much and doing it over the internet, they both live in other countries but it has been like they have been right next to me the whole time I have known them. And I would consider them two of my heroes. They have faced situations I have never even imagined and yet they made it through and are still here today to bless the world with their knowledge and experience.

my father and my grand father are my heroes. They are the most different people I have seen in this cruel world of ours. they thought of others first and then they came to themselves. They were truthfull, sincere and loving. I have never seen such personalities till now and want to be like them.

Well... that's good of you. You are lucky because you are able to get foreign friends who are willing to be there for you, and help you in many situations. As for me, I don't have any close friends. It is not because I don't like making friends, but my experience with past friends are mostly disaster.
I am a type of person who trusted too much on somebody. When I trust, I trust 100% without even being suspicious at all. But this situation made me vulnerable and my own friends tend to take advantage of my weakness. I hate to be taken advantage for, and because I have been done the same thing for so many things now I draw a line between being friends and having a good friend.
Now I only be friendly to everybody but I don't trust anybody to be my best friend. I hope one day I will meet somebody who can be trusted but until it happens, I will be just what I am today.
