I agree, there usually isn't anything good on television on the weekends unless you like watching sports. And with football being done that is even pretty bad. Sometimes on cable you can find a good movie but generally the weekends are when I watch movies that I have bought or rented.

I definitely agree! The television is showing so may repeats, especially at the weekends. What I do on these occasions is grab my favourite movie and watch it into the early hours of the morning. Thankfully with cable I have over a hundred channels so I'm always pressing the buttons on the remote control, there's always something to watch. Welcome to My Lot. Andrew

There usally is nothing good on tv during the weekends except for cartoons and movies which is usally the only things I watch on tv during the weekend and sometime sports if the celtics are playing or not. But there no new shows on the weekend because it would get bad ratings usally people go out and dont have time to watch a lot of tv so they would get bad ratings especially on saturday nights.

Oh yes! There is literally nothing on tv on the weekends! I remember in the 80's when there were always neat movies and shows on. Especially those horribly wonderful "B" horror movies, like Godzilla and the like. PBS stations would play hours of classic Doctor Who.
But now, all there is on is sports, movies that have failed at the box office, and tv shows that have failed and people no longer care about. Thank goodness for being able to watch tv online now. It's not like I watch a lot of tv to begin with, but I also read a lot and love to cross stitch. So there are plenty of other things to do other than watching tv. But when I want to curl up on the couch and watch the boob tube, I would like for there to be something decent on. Too much to ask for? NO! LOL.

Sundays are the worst! I think that's part of the reason why I hate them so much. It has to be the most boring day of the week and if I'm not doing something else, I'd like to be able to watch tv. Sometimes I'll get lucky and catch up on shows that aired during the week and repeat during the weekends. It gets worse in the summer when all the shows are done for the season. Then there's nothing to look forward to at nights.

I do agree with you. I like to curl up and watch T.V. on a weekend when I do not have to go running out. But yet when I go to watch it there is nothing ever good on. And what I do find to watch are all repeats. I think that they should put some better shows on during the winter months on weekends.
