I am looking into signing up for programs that pay people to search. What are the best programs to get paid to search? I would like to hear which are reliable and best paying. I have heard a bit about Swagbucks (would love to hear more from users). What has worked best for you guys? Any recommendations?

I have noticed that a lot actually, there seem to be more scams than legit programs out there unfortunately. Swagbucks seems to be the only company listed so far. They only pay out prizes though. Are there any other good ones?

Swagbucks is the only one I'm a member of, and I've been "paid" once so far - I earned a $5 Amazon E-Gift Certificate (God, I LOVE these things!) and that took me about two weeks of regular searching (and with no referrals). I'm halfway to another small gift certificate. =)
You can't earn actual money from Swagbucks, though, you earn "prizes" - which can range from some pretty strange merchandise to gift cards to Apple iPhones! It's pretty cool. I just set my homepage as Swagbucks, and use it like I would a normal search engine.
