Oh youless we have a traditional cermony for our wedding with the chanting of some mantras (hymns to evoke the bessings of the gods)by the priests for the well being of the couple, and it is a very solemn ceremony........Imgine what will happen if I step away from tradition and opt for love songs.......I(t would indeed be disasterous.....

create a song yourself and it is really meaningful cos the lyrics are relating to yourself and your hubby. I do not know we can do so until one of my friends did it and the result was fantastic. It really add a personal touch to the wedding. There are several sites dealing with it and i think the best is www.my-song.ca as my friend had sourced for it from many sites. They have songs for all occasions. you can check it out.

hi youless!
well, in our case, we got married two years ago. i am not much into music, i don't know artists' names and song titles. my husband on the other hand, would rather want to communicate in terms of music. hehe so such a contrast.
anyway, during our wedding, he was the one who chose all the songs. and i am happy that he did. because i would not have done a good job anyway. so he chose all the songs from the ceremony to the reception and guess what? he also sang for me, the song was entitled "We will dance." i just loved it so much!
also, i liked all the songs that he chose. these were all so meaningful. and i loved them. we compiled a cd of the songs and we gave some copies to our godparents.
take care and God bless you!
happy valentines day! :D

This awkward.I will never marry but I do have several ideas for what to play at wedding.Instaes of the traditional wedding march, I would have Elvis' can't Help Falling In Love With You." As our first dance would be to could I have This dance? by Anne Murray. And during the night I would have Just you and I by Eddie Rabbit and Crystal Gayle.

The one and only Keyshia Cole, You Complete Me. This song has a video where a woman is actually getting married to a man. I would love for her to sing this song at my wedding.. If I was renewing my vows.. This song is very lovely.. It speaks of love right beneath your heart.. I also would like to have Celine Dion sing as well. And I would love for Beyonce' to sing me the song, At Last..

Yes, I will have my special songs for my wedding day if ever I get married. I want songs like "on this day" by Jim Brickman and "Who am I" by casting crowns, I want to use the song "Love is the answer" by England Dan and John Ford Coley as our wedding dance song, it's very beautiful everytime I hear this song in the radio I envisioned myself having a wedding dance with my future husband.

I haven't put that much thought into my future wedding (as I'm no where near getting married any time soon..) But my cousin is going to have "At Last" by Etta James played at her wedding - and I think that's the PERFECT song for a marraige; classy and about love. =)
