What is wrong with people

I started a discussion. Questioning what people thought of the stimulus package the president is doing. I recieved only one response so far and it was very rude. Telling me to shut up. I thought mylot was about voicing opinions and recieving opinions. Not being treated rudely because they don't like your opinion. I haven't been here long but I do know that If I do not agree with some one I tell them that and give valid reasons I do not come here to be told to shut up. That is not the mylotters way I feel. I am happy when someone doesn't agree with my ideas it makes conversation much more interesting and makes for a great discussion. I don't expect everyone to see it my way. Sometimes my view is changed just by a very well given point. Has anyone here had the rudeness of another person just make you want stand up and slap them through the computer if that were possible.
