Choice or Chance?

i do believe in the saying "Destiny is not a matter of chance, its a matter of choice, its not something to be waited for its something to be achieve". i dont rely on stars or horoscope but i trusted in the Lord. do what u believe thats right for you.whatever the consequences of ur action face it, what matter is u do ur act coz it made u happy or contented.

A little bit of both I think....you look at what's before you and make a choice..but sometimes you are in the right place at the right time....and so both contribute to your destiny.

Hard work, education, common sense, your choice and luck.

I think its a lot due to choice, and little of chance, and a lot of destiny, I think we are destined to do and live certain life, but its the choices we make that leads us to it. I think the choices we make acts as a map witch leads us to our destiny, and if we dont listen or look at our map correctly we will make a wrong turns and it will take us longer to reach our destiny and in some rare instances our destiny can change slightly, but there are certain things in our lives that our just meant to be.

well to say i am practical in doing my work and i dont depend on any thing i do the work but as you said luck , well in any work luck and stars play a crucial game but well as per our schedule we need to do our work if we work then only we could suceed but as far as stars are concerned to be clear till our stars are not in position working hard also dosent help out , only when the stars come in our favour the work will be done. well i understand that my words are confused but well what i wanted to say is based in this only .

Wow this is probably the best question I've seen on here yet! Haha. I think that choice and chance both play a part in your destiny. Chance/Fate comes first, but it's up to your choice what the outcome is with that situation.

I think it's our choices that determine our destiny. When something happened to us, we can choose to face it or quit, we can choose to think positively or negatively, we can choose to be happy or sad. The outcome of it depends on how we react to it, and what we have chosen. I think I am always very fortunate, it may not because of the fate, it may because of my own attitude towards life. It's just like when you always treat others good, of course you'll always get help from your friends.

Nothing in the world is by chance there are always the consequences of those who have the ability to wield the power of choice. The only way to be successful in life is to choose correctly when the time comes

you yourself can make your own destiny, you have your own dreams and can think and do ways to fulfill them. however, there are times that we go astray, fail and think it's the end of the world. but we should not just stay where we fail, we should stand up and reflect and do things the right way again. failing doesn't mean we can't make it but a stepping stone to move forward

I think it's 50% verses 50%. We can't control our lives with all 100% and neither can rely on our destiny! We should be a team with our destiny and rely on each others choices and chances!

I think that it is a little of both. a lot of hard work, and making the right choices, and the luck of being in the right spot at the right time. Some of the time you dont know if the choice that you have made is the right one. Like with a job if you had a choice of two companies you wont know if you made the right choice until you pick one, but is it the right one. Luck wont make you successful, you have to do that by the choices that you make.

I still think destiny is in our own hands .If we make full preparation for the success,take pains to realize our life dream ,the sussess will be as natrally as a dicth is formed when water flows along !! But we all kown success is not only composed of ablities ,also including luck.However,the basic we should make preparation for it ,and waiting for the luck konck us

hey, very good topic you have raised. choice in most cases is a bitter process because choosing one means giving up one. It's hard to say the choice we've made is or would be the best because sometimes blessing is hidden in disguise. One mm divertation makes a thousand mile of difference. Chance also plays an unquestionally key role in success. Chance is referred to as chance because it rarely happens and unpredictable. destiny is a combination of luck and hardwork....one cannot deprnd on the luch for everything...along with the hardwork one needs luck to achieve...

Choice and chance are inseperable variables to the ultimate conclusion to our lives. We have much more power to how our life goes than we often like to think, oftentimes we are the masters of our own fates yes...but chance too plays its own role, we will never all be able to get whatever we all want, even the most successful of us won't be able to get everything they want.

I think what we need is hard work./ Depending on luck is something very weak. SO u need to make your own luck. Try everything in your power to make your dreams come true. I'm sure after trying so many times, you will get to a point where you will eventualy succeed.
