Today is my 10 yr. Anniversary. It is hard to believe that it has been 10 yrs. now, but it has been a wonderful 10 yrs. at that. Personally even thru all that I have been thru, I could never trade my husband for the world. When God blessed me with Rod he could not have made a better choice.
No, it has not always been easy, and there have been the struggles. A lot of them have been Financial with me being Diabetic and there for a few yrs. having Chronic wounds on my legs that are now healed, and I was unable to work, etc. to where now looking back I am working Full time, and have been at my job over 2 1/2 yrs. and even though $$ is tight sometimes, things are good as well.
We are going to be heading out of Town for the next 3 days. We are heading to Portland, OR to get away and relax. We both took some time off of work, and are just going to relax, do some shopping, go to Red Lobster for dinner, and enjoy. It is always so nice to be able to get away and just enjoy forgetting about the craziness of life back and home. But I am taking my lap top with me, and will have FREE WI-FI access in the Hotel room, so I might be able to drop in and post a little bit sometime as well.
For everyone here wishing you a Happy Valentines day, and go do something special.

Hello TINA! Wow! Congratulation! 10 years of marriage is great. I didn't know about your story. I know about wounds for diabetic person. You're very lucky because you are surrounded by people who truly loves you and support you all the time.
I hope you and your husband will enjoy in your vacation and that I wish that you could have more and more anniversaries to come.

Happy Anniversary!
Time does fly doesn't it - I've been married for 12,5 years by now and it feels like yesterday.
I also think it's getting better and better even if there are ups and downs it's mainly ups at least for us.
I can't understand that so many people get divorced that easy - didn't thay feel anything for each other when they got married?
Take care and have a great day!

Hi friend! It is good to hear that you have completed 10 years of marriage, congratulation. In life there is always happy as well as sorrow we have to live together without any misunderstanding. Be careful of your diabetic as it is the most worse if we dont take care. Even my mom is suffering from diabetic she has to take insulin two times a day. Now there is no sensationin her both legs. Enjoy your trip to portland and the shoppings you do. Happy mylotting and have nice day.

Wow let me just say happy anniversary and you give inspiration to all couples that are really deeply in love. I'm having the longest relationship of my life so far with my current girlfriend and I'm almost positive that she is definitely the one. You know that it's love when time becomes meaningless and you just lose track of what day it is or how long you have been together with your partner. To be honest I have no idea how long I have been dating my girlfriend and I could care less because things are going so well I'm just lost in how good this relationship is. It's definitely opened my eyes to new thoughts and feelings I believe. Happy anniversary once again.

It is so wonderful, KrauseHome, that you have a solid marriage of which you are clearly proud. I'd like to wish you a happy tenth anniversary, and may you enjoy many more. I believe that it makes getting to where you would like to be all the sweeter when you have had that special someone with whom the bad times are shared as well as the good times. Enjoy your holiday with your hubby.

Happy Anniversary love and may you both enjoy many more!
Life is never easy and marriage takes work and commitment but with the right man it's worth it! You'll face many ups and downs but the best you can do is, support each other through the bad and enjoy the good together. Try and remember the good times when things aren't as good too. I'm lucky I've 40+ years of memories (38 of them married) to look back on, with my Mr Right!
I hope you have a wonderful time and really benefit from your break.
Happy Valentines to you both!

Congratulations on your 10th Anniversary!!!! I hope you had a good time, by the time you read this your probably already back from your vacation. Its always good to get away from the craziness of life at home sometimes, we do that too. Well we're celebrating our 6th Anniversary today, we were married the day after Valentines, on the 15th, we tried to get it done on the 14th but things didn't work out that way. I know this way my husband can't forget it..lol. I'm glad for the life we've had so far, and it doesn't seem like its been that long, we were talking about that today, we're ready to go another 6 yrs. I wouldn't trade my husband for nothing either, I too have been through some medical problems in the past, I'm diabetic also, and I've also had two heart surgeries, and a few other things going on and he's always been right here beside me. We ate out yesterday morning, then later that evening we grilled steaks and had a wonderful dinner, today we ate out for lunch and we're spending a quiet evening at home just the two of us. I hope you have many more years together...Have a good day

How lovely to read your post! You sound so content in your marriage and that is so refreshing to hear. It sounds like you have got yourself a good one there! The fact that you have been through rough times and it has brought you closer together is a sign that you have a very special relationship. Congratulations on 10 years together and I hope your Valentine's Day was as wonderful as the love you share!

Congratulations! Being married is hard work, especially if you want to make it last. I think too many people go into it thinking it will always be joy and romance, and then they quickly become disillusioned. It's worth working at, though, isn't it!
We were in Portland last summer, and it's a really nice town. We went to a little restaurant downtown that had wonderful food. I only wish I could remember the name. Have fun!
