Oh, Rats!!

No, there's nothing wrong. I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day from my cats, Shady and Chloe.
I also wanted to ask you if you've ever had pets who got along really well even though one would normally think they might normally be either enemies or predator and prey. Tell us about them.
Anyway, with the day of the patron saint of love and romance just around the corner, I want to leave you with this little video - I hope it makes you smile and remember we don't always choose to love - sometimes love chooses us.

Can you imagine?? Yep that old rat sure did love that crazy cat on there;

Hey, Jan. I'm afraid Shady would kill it. She's my desert cat who lived off the land before I got her. She used to drool over Deb's little mouse. But, way back, we used to have a white rat we named Dan Ratter. He was the poopinest thing I've ever seen - he got in Paul's drawers and chewed up all his boxer shorts. I liked him, but I was glad to give him back to the person who'd given him to me. But, I do think they're cute. So are ferrets - especially ferrets. But, I'll stick with my kitters, thanks.

That was a cute video, jerzgirl. Thanks for sharing and a happy belated Valentine's Day to you as well. I used to have guinea pigs and a female cat gave birth to her kittens in the cage and raised them there among my guinea pigs and their babies. It was too cute watching them all play together.

Hey jerz! Now that was so sweet! The cat didn't look too
thrilled, but that rat sure does love that kitty! I think
that it is wonderful no matter what kind of love it is and
no matter who it is that is doing the loving even it they
are supposed to be mortal enemies! It definitely made me smile!
