well, water therapy alone cant make you lose weight that easily. they said take at least 8 glasses of water a day. this will be really effective if you will do it with proper diet and proper exercise. water can really help us in slimming down since it will take away all the toxins of the body through peeing and bowel movement. it will also help you to have clear and healthy skin.. but doing this water therapy now is a good start.

Water therapy I think is actually about opting for water instead of food. And since water has zero calories, for every meal that you substitute for water, you're already losing weight (mostly fat).
You may want to try skipping dinner. First make sure that you have heavy breakfast (something healthy and not fatty), then have a normal lunch, then skip dinner. Instead, drink lots of water to fill your stomach and give you the sensation of being full.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I do think water therapy is good for losing weight. I think water helps in better digestion of the food. Also water helps to better absorption and removal of the toxins from the body. I like coconut water very much. I think coconut water is good for health. I think you should give it a try on water therapy to lose weight.

I think probably the only "water therapy" that would be beneficial to weight loss would be in the form of water aerobics/exercise. Simply drinking water is not going to be effective in loosing weight, and drinking too much water can cause as many health problems as not drinking enough.

Water therapy is benificial, but i dont think doing water therapy only can make you lose weight. It has something to do with your lifestyle, go for a proper diet, exercise of at least 30 minutes a day. Water can help you remove toxics away, and when you work out a lot, sweat a lot, water is important to prevent dehydration.

Water is effective in losing weight because it helps in flushing toxins out of your body. As what I have learned from my friend who lost 10 pound of using water therapy, water prevents fat deposition and it's also one way of feeling full, and because of that, you will not crave for food. But you must also consider the effect of too much intake of water. It's never healthy to consume more than 4 liters of water per day because it could lead to water intoxication, which is very fatal because it could lead to brain damage. You can take 1-3 liters of water per day for water therapy or depends on how much fluid is lost from your body. If you exercise vigorously, don't forget to replace the lost fluid through sweat by drinking water.

I don't think water therapy is really beneficial when it comes to weight loss. When you want to lose weight very effectively, you must know your calorie range per day and stay within that whenever you eat. Also, you must exercise regularly and drink 8-10 glasses of water. You can also join sites like diet.com, fitday.com, and sparkpeople.com if you really need help.
