What time do your children start and finish school?

We have recently moved to a beautiful location in Stoney Creek, Before then we had lived in the east side of Hamilton where my children attended Glen Echo and Glen Brae, They use to start at 8:45 and be done at 3:15 now at our new location the kids are bussed and leave at 7:49 and are home at 2:30 what time do your children have to be at school? Do you walk them, are they bussed? or do they walk themselves?

Our Children start school at 8 and get out at 3. I wish they tailored more to the common peoples work schedule but they don't. I just find that weird.

My son has to be on the school bus at 8:30 and school starts at 8:45. He gets out of school at 3:15 and he is home by 3:40 every day. At the school we just moved from he had to be on the bus at 7:25 to start school at 8:15 and he got out at 3:10 and was home at 3:50.

My girls (grade 3 and 5) starts school 8:30 - they do this here in our village from grade 0 - 9.
The time the ends school differs some. Grade 0-2 ends 1:30 every day. grade 3 ends 1.30 three days a week and 2:10 two days.
Grade 4-9 have other times but the latest they ends school is 3.30PM
For those that needs childcare there is childcare avalible after school up to grade 6 for a small fee.
My kids walk to school together in the morning (when it's warmer and no snow they ride their bikes) - about 2 miles each way.
Home they go by them selves or with friends since they doesn't end at the same time.

My son is 6, and in the 1st grade. His school opens at 7:15 to start serving breakfast. If he wants to eat breakfast there, we will take him about that time so he has plenty of time to eat and be in class by 8:00 when school starts. If he's eating at home that day, we don't leave our house until about 7:45. He get's out of school at 2:15 and rides the bus home, and usually is home by 2:45.
