cant practice what you preach

"it's easy to say but it's hard to do"
it is easy to give advice to people who need it, but do we apply to ourselves what we have advice to others???
me, i admit it.. sometimes i don't apply what i advice to someone with the same incidence and happening.. because it's hard..
its like food safety instructors that teaching food safety to students but keeps eating street foods...

true! I remember a story about a doctor who tells his patient to stop smoking. it turns out, to the patient's surprise, that the doctor himself is smoking. well, the doctor replied "Don't do what i do, do what i say".

well, it's a little bit ironic, that you advise something that you do not practice. but i think that's typical ["love doctors" for example]. when he tells a heartbroken person that this is what you should do, move on, blah3x, when the time comes that the "love doctor" himself is heartbroken, well, he may not actually follow his own advice.

Thanks for your response. I wonder why doctors get sick and why they cant cure themselves!? Hahaha..
