Sidekick 3 Bummer

Okay, I know I started a discussion some weeks ago abot how excited I was to get a Sidekick 3. I think I over did with the excitement. The Sidekick 3 is a good phone but it has it flaws. Is has many features but it is lacking picture messaging and sending things via bluetooth though it has bluetooth. It also has a very weak battery life. I had to charge it up at least twice a day if not more. I couldn't even download free ringtones from the free websites, I had to pay $2.49 for my ringtones. I have went back to using my Motorola W490 and hoping I can get my money back for the Sidekick. Do you guy think I did the right thing?

Wow I have always liked the sidekick and even wanted one at a time.I didnt know this about it ,iamagine ahaving to charge aphoen twice and to think that it doesnt have that many features to drain the battery.And you say that you have to pay for ringtones from a site that is supposed to be free ,now that is messed up (and that isnt even the word I woudl like to use).Are you sure that this is the full sidekick.Some phones need software to be downloaded and sometimes there is a called down version of the requisite software ,somaybe you need to take it back to them

The Sidekick 3 is what I had. I had to buy ringtones from T-Mobile thats why they were not free ($2.49 a ringtone) and I could not download any from a free website because the phone did not have that feature. I am back to using my Motorola W490 which has all the features I want.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Not mention no free ringtones resource downloading. Only the incredibly weak battery is beyond tolerance. But recharging twice a day is awful and unusual. Are you sure your Sidekick 3 Bummer is completely new since it released two years ago. Weak battery performance is characteristic of second hand cellphone. I figure it would be nice if you could get your money back and buy another new one.

This was my first time ever owning a Sidekick 3. I am back to using my Motorola W490, I probably continue to use it because I like getting picture messages and free ringtones. I may just look up other people reviews of the Sidekick 3 and see if they had the same problem.
