Uplifting Movies

Have you ever been so moved by a movie that you felt uplifted. Have you ever felt like the movie gave you clear view on life? That is just what I'm in the mood for this weekend, so if you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them. What movies uplifted you? Was there a scene in the movie that you just loved?

October Sky, for some reason was what I thought of when I read uplifting. Its based on a true story of 4 guys who live in a coal mining town who want to win the national science fair by making rockets so they can win a college scholarship. Well worth a look if you haven't seen it......

I remember seeing this movie in the theater. It was very good, and its been so long I think it will be much like seeing it for the first time. Thanks for the recommendation.

I always enjoyed the airport scenes in the movie "LOVE ACTUALLY". It's where all the "regular" (not the actors) people hug and kiss each other after seeing each other again. That always get to me and it truly does show the love in the world.
