Has anyone experienced problems with Pickjack?

Today, after doing a ton of work on Pickjack my account balance, instead of showing an increase, had actually gone down from $2.29 to $2.01. It did not make any sense because between the two amounts I must have asked over thirty questions and most of them had many votes. Can anyone help me solve this puzzle. I emailed pickjack about this but I have not yet had a reply. Has this ever happened to you? I really love this site but when things like this happen it makes you wonder what is going on.

i got paid a few days ago, so my balance was set back to o.oo yesterday my balance was .23 today it went up to .37 and i did not do very much. For the life of me i do not know how their payment system calculates how much you earn for each question asked, or answered. With the payment just made on the 11th. did you get paid or did you make that much in two days.

I made 0.23 on my first day but I did not work hard at all. I worked harder on my second day and made $2.29 (that got me really excited). I decided to double my output and quality of my questions on the third day but my account balance went down $2.01???????? I was not paid on the 11th because that was my first active day.

I had the same problem. I had $1.25 in my account balance and I did a lot of answering and a few question askings. I got on my computer this morning and it showed I only had 90 cents. WHAT!? Where did my money go? Why did they take my money away for being active?
I would really be interested to hear what they say if they email you back. I hope someone else knows why this happened.

OMG it did not only happen to me...that is both a relief and a little disconcerting. There must be something wrong because it is totally illogical how our money could go down after we both did lots of work...that makes no sense at all. I also noticed that I did not receive the customary email that I always get each time my account balance changes. I wish they would put something up on the site to notify people if they were having problems. I don't want to prejudge them because I really love this site, but if I don't get a response over the next few days I will not be very happy. Let's hope they solve this problem soon or at the very least offer an explanation.

I just tried to go on to write them an email too, but I couldn't get on. I kept getting page cannot be displayed off and on. So, I gave up for now. If you hear from them would you mind letting me know what they say? I really hope they email you back!

I also experienced that and it seemed to me that Pickjack is cheating. It's weird for the earnings to go down, right? That's also what I thought when my earnings went down on the first time. It also makes us wonder why but I cannot find any explanation about that on the site.
So I'll make a guess on the puzzle. Since the earnings is based on rank... and our rank is determined by how many questions we make and answer and by how well our questions are rated by other members. In other words, how many other members answered our questions correctly and rated it as good.
If you are confident that you made your day's work with pickjack and your earning still went down then it means somebody out there has done more than what you did. That's one logical explanation I can think... if and only if the owners don't do cross-cutting with the earnings.

hi thanks for your input. If you look at the members area you will see the numbers of questions and the rankings also don't make sense. For example I have a large number of quality questions (based on votes), a large number in my network and a large number in my degrees, yet I am ranked 6 places lower than someone who only has six questions, I have over 100 quality questions. I have no idea what is going on at pickjack, but I am determined to get to the bottom of it because I have invested a great deal of time that I want to be rewarded for.
