do you think everything happens for a reason? i do. if it wasn't for my ex-girlfriend cheating on me and choosing another guy i would have never met my beautiful and adoring wife that i have now. i know we all have our moments in a relationship. of course in every relationship you need god or you will never be able to get through the hard times in your marriage. before i meet my wife i felt their was no reason to live besides to be their for my son. i thank the lord every day for my wonderful family that i have now. i hope that you realize that if it wasn't for god in your life then you wouldn't be here. please take a moment to think about it and you will realize that he loves you. remember it's not about what you don't have it's what you got.

Yes, I too beleive everything happens for a reason but I don't know if that reason is a good reason or a bad reason. I would like to believe that every bad thing that happens to me will eventually lead me to a better place but sometimes I wonder if I am not just indulging in wishful thinking. Hindsight is a great thing though and very useful...I am usually able to say "if that bad thing had not happened this good thing would never have entered my life. It reminds me of something my grandmother used to say...."every disappointment leads to a blessing".

Yes I believe that everything happens for a reason. It is either we should learn something or we should stop doing something wrong. It depends on how you will discern the reason behind.

I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. I have to believe that.
Everything that happens in our lives is leading us to something that we will eventually find, and we will be thankful for the path that took us there.
I have always believed that, and I think I will always continue to believe it.

no at times i really think why on earth all bad things happens to me and i really feel very about it.i feel that i am very unlucky and good things can never happen to me.but then my parents always tell me that everything happens for a reason and tries to explain me see if this didnot work that does not mean you are unlucky or it just happens to you and says may be something better for you is in store and you just have to wait for the right time.then i really think why i get upset just because one thing didnot go well i have a lovely family who loves and supports me all the time then i donot have to worry for anything and i really thank god for giving me such a loving family and god bless you all take care.

There's a saying "I HAVE CREATED YOU BECAUSE, YOU WERE MEANT TO BE CREATED. IF I AM THE ONE TO CREATE YOU... THEN, I WILL BE THE ONE TO HELP YOU... THROUGH YOUR GOOD AND BAD TIMES..."
Well, i believe that what ever happens, it happens for good only... And Marriages are made in heaven...no one can change it... you and your sweet wife were meant to be together.. then no forces can touch you... This is the power of the creater..
Believe in him and you'll believe yourself and just see your life will boom like anything...

Yes, I believe that everything we do or do not has a reason. It's only that we sometimes do not know what the reason is. Even everything that happens, happen for a reason. I guess it's unexplainable but that just how the world goes on.

Yes, I agree. Everything happens for a reason, it is what Buddhist thing says, I'm not a buddhist but it always says if A didn't happen, B wouldn't happen following.

Congratulations for your happy family, your beautiful wife and your lovely son.
Most things happen for some reason. The phylosophers and scientists are looking for reasons to explain the various phenomena human beings are encountering. The reasons or causes, if traced and noticed, could help us to be better prepared to seek for better results, or in front of difficulties, to react for minimum loss.
But I doubt if everything has a reason behind it. There is a song, which reads, "Row row row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, Life is but a dream." What we can do is to do our best to pursue our belief, and take it easy to accept what falls on us.
Enjoy life!

Everything happens for a reason, simply because. It's practically the same reason our planet moves--how we're like protons, electrons, neutrons... attracting one another and pushing each other away at the same time. Of course, those of the same magnitude tend to stick together strongest. It is electric, how things happen to us. We attract to us instead of us to them without us knowing, really. I think it's beautiful, that way. We attract experiences we want to have, push away those we don't want to. It's probably the same thing with love, as well... it's cool I haven't found the one for me yet, or else life would be pretty boring.

Yes i beleive that things happen for a reason. We had just starting going to our church and decided to talk to our pastor about adopting a baby. He had a friend that knew of a christian agency we could talk to. We meet with the agecny in May and our son was born in August. He was born in the same town as us, so we did not have to travel. His birthmother had already had someone to adopt him and 2 weeks before he was born they backed out. If we had not signed up with this agency who knows where he would be today. She did not want him, her parents did not want him, and his father was in jail. So yes I do believe that God played a big part in this. Most people wait years for a baby, we only had a few months. I was able to met his birthmother and I was in the delivery room with her. This could not have happened if we did not talk to our pastor first instead of going to DSS.

yes most definitely they happen for a reason. its always a purpose and nothing is really coincidence anymore in this day and age because we are getting close to that zero hour. i don't mean the end of the world nonsense i mean zero hour of returning to the most powerful state humanity once was. being better people, better human beings. after all the rain it returns to the sunny skies. i have had many shares of really bad days and i keep going.. its that ultimate understanding i have of the world and my life that i keep going for. ultimately i will find everything i need. maybe before i'm called to go back to where i originated or if i am blessed enough i will have it here. i still haven't lived out my full potential and am dressing in rehearsal it seems like to become something way better.

Yes, I believe in that, too. Because I had the seme experience as yours. If my ex bf didn't leave me, I will not be able to meet my present bf who is sooooooo loving and responsible. I also believe that God won't take away something from us if it is good for us. He knows what is the best for all of us.

I'm a big believer in god and I'm a big believer that he gives free will. I think there are times when things happen it just seems like they were supposed to; it makes sense. And I believe in divine intervention too, but I don't believe He makes things happen or that everything is pre-determined. I'm sure the people who were supposed to be on one of those planes on 9/11 would say that was devine intervention, whatever prevented them from getting on the plane, but what about the people who were on one of those planes? Some things happen that it's just6 hard to believe it was a coincidence. But I think there are more coincidences than some people think.

I totally agree with you. I firmly believe that God knows what we need long before we do and therefore, evrything that happensd to us in our lives happens for a reson. The reason may not be apparent to us, but there is definately a reason there.

yes,, i strongly believe in this phrase... EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. things happening in your life depends on you and with GOD. Some says, its all because of the decision we make in life. But for me, i make some decisions in life but things happening around you enexpectedly has a reason behind it. Why my bf flew off to jersey leaving me here, i thought my life was crashed and had no hope in surviving the pain and loneliness during those times but it took mths before i realize that its finally over and time for me to move on and start all over again. Thats when i met my hubby and got a wonderful son.

I agree that everything does happen for a reason. it's just that sometimes the things that happen to us are just so painful that we cant seem to find that reason or the sense of why this is happening to you.
but when all is said and done, after the fire has been put out, you'll realize that yes, we are always blessed and that hurtful stuff happen to us for no other reason but to be stronger.
