Do you agree with this sentence "Money rules U"

You have to have money to live....and the more of it that you have, the more that you can do. So i guess that money does rule.

Right now, I'm in quite a bit of debt, so money is something that's CONSTANTLY on my mind - how to get it, how to keep it, how to save it, how to budget, and so on. Money is everything right now, and not because I'm spoiled or self-centered, but because I need it to pay for bills, school, and credit card debt. :(

In fairness, much of our contempory world is motivated by and thrives on money. As much as I would like to say that money doesn't make the world go 'round, the uncomfortable truth is that yes, in the modern world we are ruled by money. This is not to imply that we are money hoarders or elitists but to state a very real fact. I am not wealthy but I do need money to survive. In this way, money rules all of us, when our survival depends on it. Still, it doesn't mean that we should be selling our souls for bling, the latest I POD, or the spiffy SUV. Lest we forget that money is still the route of all evil, at least by cliche, and we have always got to bear in mind how much we let money rule our human nature.
