This year, yes, I will be spending a little extravagantly on the gift for her. But the celebration will be low key especially since the money that I spend on her gift will need to be balanced on the celebration. Most probably it is going to be a simple movie that we will enjoy with not much of a eating or excessive candies or flowers. Although my ideal valentine would be a simple gift and simple quite time alone that we can spend with each other. It really helps nourish our relationship. Infact, last time I spent the most on a Valentine day, this time it is a little less. I feel as a relationship matures, this day becomes less important as there is no requirement for a particular day in order to enjoy the love and bonds that you share.

This a very late reply but remembering my valentines day.. It was my rest day and payday so good timing. I went out and spend some money but for myself alone. Hehehe.. I’m single and good to be one because I don’t have to buy something for someone special then. :D I bought a lot of foods though, well for three people and I ate it all of course. Hahaha.. No one to treat but again, good thing it’s payday, I have some money to spend.

Yep I will be spending money this Valentines day. Not much tho. He will take me out to dinner and a movie tonight and then tomorrow night I will cook him whatever he wants for dinner or I will take him to his favorite resturaunt. We use to buys gifts for each other but as the years passed we found that we enjoy going out alone without the kids much better now.
