Is it better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all?

Though it hurts to loose one's love, it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. It makes you realise what pain is all about and also one matures in the process and becomes a more understanding person

i dont think so to be honest,
I have met the one for me but unfortantly i am not the one and we are no longer together, I am in love with him and always will be but i am with someone and its very early days and he makes me happy, I have 2 options i could sit and grieve for my love or i can live and be loved.
More importantly i can be happy
