Have many of you started discussions that have never beenr esponded to? If not, how do you decide what topic you will use to start a discussion?

your discussion has to be an eye catcher. just plain jane conversations dont get much attention. I found that out through experience.

I just write whatever tickles my fancy at the time. My gripe one was because I was ticked off. Depends on my mood. Sometimes if something is in the news I mention it.

No I don't. Most of my discussions have at least 2 responses. And I have to give thanks to my "Buddy" Rolcam. He is doing his best to help me as all of his friends in the MyLot area.

One of my discussions had only a single answer, but the topic has to be something that will draw some of the people in here to it, and that is not always that easy! lol

well, i will answer based on my few days/week experience, i do not like to respond to discussion that have been asked before many many times by other members. so, i avoid that myself by searching for the topic at the search bar, and if confirm no such discussion, only then i will post it up. but generally, maybe getting more friends will be an advantage, cos we do try to post discussions for those who are in the friends' list. Good Luck!

Yes I have few discussions with NO answer. I supposse it's normal. There are a lot of post and dicussions here. It can happen. Often the more interesting discussions don't receive a lot of answer because it means that you have to think about and write a bit longer. People here like short post to read and short answer to write. It' stupid because this is a Forum...

I have a few of those... What I try to do is first I look at everyone on my friends list, as their profiles and all the discussions they have started try to answer all of theirs that I can, Then anything else I am drawn to. I have so happened to fall on this thread, so I will be looking at all of your discussions in your profiles to see what I can answer... and I hope that you'll all return the favor to me :) ... That is not only a good way to help your friends out and yourself out as well, but also helps to turns this from just a board into a network of friends.. and getting to know eachother better... I have a few in there with no responces.. I guess my discussions are just kind of opposite for the board or maybe, just a bit to weird or over peoples heads at times.. Like my Gender Neutral pronoun one, they are probably reading it going huh? ... lol ... Eventually I'll start posting my posts and stories from my own groups that opened alot of discussion... Hopefully that will help out.. Well Take care :) - DNatureofDTrain.
