Do we get paid to tag discussions or comments we post?

After we start a new discussion, or post a reply to someone else's discussion, we are prompted to attach tags with it.
But there's also an option of skipping this step. So do we get paid to attach the tags also? I know tags help in searching the discussion better by others, but still does it add to our income??

Tagging makes your discussions easier for people to find. If people find them, they might post. If they post you get paid. So in effect tagging itself doesn't earn you money, but it helps you earn money.

How I wish we can also earn from tagging each discussion. That will be a great earning opportunity. Unfortunately, we don't earn from this. But since tagging helps compile discussions of similar topics, it somehow give us more chance to earn more. For example, we tagged this discussions as "my lot tagging" or simply "tagging", it will appear on the side or at the bottom (together with other threads that has "tagging" in them) every time one opens a discussion with a similar tag. If the member notices this thread, then you might gain additional cent/s if he/she responses.

I do not think you HAVE to attach a tag with each discussion/post. There is no specific weightage given to the number of tags you post. The idea behind introducing tags is to help other users locate these discussions easily, who are looking for similar topics to respond to.
We get paid only for adding quality to the website, that is the bottomline. Thus, my advice would be to post relevant tags to all the discussions or post you put up here.
