today is valentine's day.are you happy?

My valentines day so far is pretty depressing. But thats how it is every valentines day this is the most depressing day of the year for me. I hate not having a girlfriend and seeing every couple go out its just really depressing to me hopefuly next year ill have a girlfriend on valentines day.

Me and my boyfriend got together early in the morning, cause he has work in the afternoon. We spend our time in his place. Its not much and its not as expensive as others might have spend their valentines. But, its still special, cause I got to spend some time with him. And he gave me roses today as well.

I was really looking forward to this day and am sadly dissapointed. I realize the day is not over yet but so far its not what I imagined. I don't know why I get my hopes up so high. I told my boyfriend the one thing I wanted to do this day was sleep in. Instead I'm laying in bed staring at him snore while the baby wakes up and starts to cry this morning. We've been up for hours now and nothing happened. He just kissed me and said happy valentine's day. I know we have plans for tonight (i'm cooking) but I want more. One day I want a nice sweet romantic guy. Maybe next year...

not really. my sweetie is out of the country and we can't be together. long distance relationships suck. today was just like any other day. though we did spend time on line, it's still not the same. i'd rather have him here than anywhere else in the world.
