Religious people are usually the first to judge. You are supposed to hate the sin, yet love the sinner. The way you judge people on Earth is the way you will be judged by the heavenly father, that is what I believe. The standard to which you hold others will be the standard held to you on Judgement Day.
Do you agree with this? Not agree? Why or why not?

If one actually READS the ENTIRE passage from Matthew 7:1-5 about judging, you will find that Jesus was talking about HYPOCRITIAL, self-righteous judging. We are to judge the behavior of others, as long as it is done in a non-hypocritical, loving way.

I wouldn't say the first. I think its an equal amount of judgement between religious and nonreligious. People judge each other without knowing much about them, just based on if they believe in God or not. Should never judge anyone good or bad. But if you do judge good. How you judge is how you will be judged.

Hi stacyv81! I completely agree with you. I am not a religious person but I do believe in that. I have never intentionally pass judgment to anyone but I know that somehow I am guilty of it. There were times in my life that I was hurt and been really put down and I have reacted with so much pain in my heart, wishing and judging those people who hurt me.
take care and blessings to you!
