Has anyone ever failed a class in high school?

Yes, but there some extenuating circumstances that lead to it. And then I ended up dropping out, because I could not deal with having to retake so many things that I felt no need to take... I went back and got my GED and am now in college... Where I ended up failing a class...much more powerful in college than in high school. This caused me to devote more time to my studies and take my education more serious...and successfully too! I've made the Dean's List 2 out of 3 semesters so far.
