TOUCHY! But I am with the last response. I do not judge anyone for anything. That is if they know the reason behind it and are will to take the consequences! I know some people who have had one and they pay for it every day! It is not something is proud of!

That is true some people do have one and pay for it everyday but than there are those who have many one after another after another discarding lives like you would throw away a tissue....is this right?especially when so many people can't ahev children and would love to adopt the beautiful baby boy or girl the aborted...should it be allowed?

I don't want to have an abortion, however I think it's wrong that banning abortion was even on the ballot. They are just trying to take away more of women's rights. Abortion isn't ideal, but what it's a woman's body and she should have the right to choose. And how about rape? Should a woman or girl who has already been victimized have to carry a baby for 9 months and go through the pain of birth? How is that fair? Every day it would a be a constant reminder of what happened to her. What a slap in the face.

No. That's not right either. I don't know how to do this without violating some right... but an abortion should maybe be on your medical file and if you keep doing them I don't know maybe counciling? Just like if you go from doctor to doctor to get a bunch of pills you eventually get caught and get councilling. I don't know. There is never going to be a pretty answer to this problem.

I don't think we will ever be able to please either side. I agree it's wrong to use abortion as the "quick fix". Women should have the choice, but they should also be more responsible for their actions... and try to avoid getting pregnant in the first place.

So will we ever be able to please either side? Pro choice or pro life? Its wrong to treat life so carelessly but woman shold have the right to choose, right?

Abortion is something almost everyone say would never be an option in their life but then change their mind when they have to deal with it. I believe that it's every womans right to choose weather she wants to give birth to a child or not and no one should be forced to carry an unwanted child. I think women, especially young girls, need a lot of education to prevent them from using abortions instead of birth control and maybe there should be a limit to how many abortions one woman can have. We can not judge others for having abortions. I know it's not an easy subject but who are we to play God and decide what's best for everyone else?
If a woman feels she's not ready to bring a new life into the world, don't force her to.

I agree with isasice.....It's the womans right to choose and no one but themselves have to live and face the consequences after the abortion. Everyone's situation is unique...just because someone is ready to have a baby doesn't mean everyone else is....

no not everyone is ready to have a baby and yes every sistuation is unique in its own way but who are we to play God and "kill a life" when there are so many great parents in the world who can't have children and would give the child we aborted a great life?

I am having a hard time with this discussion..I do have to agree and hate to admit it... that women should have the right to choose.. I mean no one should be told what they have to do..however when you look at society as a whole... we are told not to speed... so someone is telling me I cannot go 70 miles an hour because it is unsafe and endangers someone's life. Well I think abortion is the same thing... if you choose to abort a child you are killing a human..so shouldn't there be some type of consequence. We don't live in a free world... we are told to do things everyday whether it be as simple as obeying the speed limit...we are not allowed to smoke in certain places because second hand smoke will affect someone else... Abortion affects an unborn child. If people and I don't just mean women because it takes two to create a child... could just reasonably look at the situation and say okay... If we happen to get pregnant we will do the right thing and take care of this child... This is another whole moral debate that I do not care to go into at the moment....So in a nutshell...Speeding is wrong, abortion is wrong, smoking in public and making people susepticle to second hand smoke is wrong...however it is done daily...

i love luvadeal's point....we are told everyday not to drink and drive, speed, and so many other things because it will kill a life but here we are killing a life through abortion...yet no punishment? Yet are jails are overflowing with murders who have killed and people who have aborted are walking free? I believe in freedom of choice although i am gainst abortion. however doesn't it seem our society is contradicting itself by allowing abortion but punishing someone who kills? both are thought through so why is only one punished? (i dont think this way just playing devils advocate)

its kinda handy i think, i mean if i had kids and they were getting outa line i could tell them "do as your told or il have you aborted" that would sort them out.

well ah... not to sound mean or anything but you probably shouldn't have kids if that is what you would tell them.. Kids are kids and they are going to misbehave.. I mean my daughter was at the grocery store totally having an adhd moment and I would never ever tell her something like that. That would be emotinal abuse...

Pro LIFE! I am against abortion. It should be illegal. I think abortion is murder. If you dont want a baby then give it up for adoption but dont kill it., ABORTION= MURDER!
