I am single and happy. I celebrated Valentines by delivering a bouquet of flowers to someone's wife. Read her a poetry and and the husband's message. I got paid for it don't worry.
I used to get sad when this day of hearts comes around thinking that it is for people with partners. And then something happened to me. I got mature and realized it is also for people who loves themselves.
Are you happy?

I sent Valentine cards to my family. And as for your question, my relationship of 4 years is coming to an end, his choice, so I'm soon to be single. I'll be moving out of state Tuesday. I'll be happy when I get moved and after some time. This decision was 'announced' Jan 14th, and since then we have been living in the same house, until I could get things taken care of and moved. And I spent today alone, well with my dog, he was put in the hospital yesterday, diagnosed with having a heart attack. But he'll be back home Monday, and I'll be packed and ready to leave Tuesday morning.

I have a feeling that there is a bit of sadness in this response, palonghorn. But it's just life happening. You have to keep breathing because tomorrow the sun will rise. I got that line from "Cast Away"- Tom Hanks.
I also have a dog and they always help when one is moving on.
thanks for posting. If you need something like words to help you with it. send me a message. :)

I am taken and I'm happy. I never liked Valentine's much when I got older. All the couple stuff I hated because well, let's face it, I was never coupled with anyone. However, I started thinking about how it didn't really matter. You don't need to be with someone to be happy because well, that's just now how life has to be.
As soon as I got over that, I found someone and I'm happy now too. I think it all depends on your perception of life and how you really want to see things or how you think things should be.

highflyingangel,
Now, I am even happier. I guess, I'm close to having that partner. I mean, lets face it the longing is hidden somewhere where I can't possibly dig and feel it when I don't need it. Having read your post and someone also told me just when you're happy and busy with living your life that's when you get noticed and find the love of your life. It is always exciting when you least expect it. L.O.L
thank you very much!

I'm engaged, actually. I must admit that I'm really happy with the relationship I'm in. I think that my fiance and I are in pretty healthy relationship. We don't always agree, we have the occasional argument, but which relationship doesn't? In the end, I think we're both still happy.

Oh, that's sweet. Argument is normal, it makes the love sweeter. It's good that you are both happy about it. Relationships is a gift from God and it should be a joyful ride.
thanks dodo!
