are you paid rent for house

yes, we are renting an apartment for now. we are in a place at this moment which we have relocated into two years ago. we do not intend to stay here for long then. but, the health condition of my youngest child has made us to stay on much longer. maybe, i wll have to find a way to have a place where we do not have to pay rent if we will still be around for some years more. i can never feel settled in a rented apartment. i can feel how temporary it is. besides, all the features of home that i want are all absent. there is no yard, not much privacy, i cannot make improvements on it as i want to, many more.
