Lost leg!

India

This event happened some ten days back. One of the Agent, of my corporation was talking to his customer on his way back to his home..late night by about 9.30pm.. in his CELL PHONE.. I am reproducing here of what that agent told to others Agent: How are you ..xxx (policy holder) Policyholder: I am fine.. and how are you? Agent : yeah.. i am fine.. and how.... and he does not finish the sentence ...... had a head on collision with the oncoming truck.. and the truck ran over his legs.. crushed.. crushed.. and one of his leg was so crushed that not even a piece of bone or flesh could be removed from the road..but luckily the other leg was only broken and had only multiple fractures though severe injuries to it...and some how the doctors managed to set it right.. And now the person laments.. and grieves for his lost leg..and now he recognizes the importance of adhering to traffic rules.. Do you talk in cellphone while driving? I don't talk in mobiles while i am driving. If so, kindly avoid it comrades. Happy mylotting.

Hi saivenkaat! Oh my goodness, that is horrible! I do hope that somehow he will be alright! I really don't talk on my cell phone when I am walking on the streets especially when I am on a busy road. I really am scared of accidents like that. I do not like it also when my husband talks on the phone while driving. It really distracts you in your concentration on the road when you are on the phone. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Hello svka. Long time no see. Nice to read your new discussion. I am so sorry for the loss of your agent's leg while on the phone. It is very important for all of us to be careful with the use of the cell phone while driving and walking and riding. Everything can happen. We cannot be too careful. Take care, friend.

I am so sorry to hear that. I hate talking on any phones. I have a cell phone but use it for texting only when my husband is away from home and I need to tell him something. I hate it when people talk on the phone while driving. They do not pay attention. I never talk on the phone while driving.
