Advice or thoughts?

Hello, hope everyone is having a fantastic day or night :) I have a gf and we are dating long distance. She lives in the philippines while I live in the U.S. The thing is though is that, I havent told my parents a lot about her. They know that I talk to her, but I dont really bring it up and when my mom asked me one day a little about her, she didnt seem to happy for me or excited about it. My parents are the parents that think everyone on the internet is bad and should not be trusted and they tell me that life should not be lived online which I agree with and I dont do that. I've never really shared a lot of my personal life with my parents and they have never really asked, but this is a completely different situation because she lives in another country. This isnt a normal relationship, theres a lot of distance. But my problem is, I have no idea how to bring up my relationship with my gf to them, I am extremely nervous about talking to them about it too. I just have this feeling like they will think its a joke that i could love someone i met on the internet. Any thoughts or advice about what I could say to start the conversation? Any thoughts will help.
