well.. after years of being "in a relationship" every Feb of every year, this is the first time I never dated nor received anything from someone who claims to feel something special for me. After more than a month of breaking up with my ex-boyfriend, Valentines day just passed by like an ordinary day. I never celebrated Valentines though, but I normally receive something from my former significant other or from a suitor. Feb. 13th was my payday so I thought of enjoying a portion of the money I worked for. I bought my dad and myself new cellphones. I dropped by an Italian restaurant and tried one of their specialty pasta. I came home and prepared Fetucinni Alfredo which I served when my relatives came to visit us yesterday. I browsed the internet which I am only able to do in the weekends (it feels like I'm not making the most out of what I pay for my DSL connection.. lol). All in all, it wasn't half bad and I enjoyed my weekend.

My hubby reminds me every few minutes of every day how much he loves me..SO, on Valentines day, we choose to save our money as money does not buy love right?...We did sneak out for a little lunch date though!

I spent the day with my dog, and packing to move and cleaning. I also got my Valentine's 'gift' to myself......set of new tires. And I shared a sub sandwich from Subway with my dog for dinner. Not really anything to exciting.

My husband surprised me by sending me a bouquet of Red Roses at the office. He has never done that in the entire time we've been together even before we got married but this time he really did my Valentine's Day very memorable and I love him even more, his surprise meant a lot to me. We had dinner after work.
