If your Supervisor is a total nightmare and the people that work with you agree what should you do in the following scenerio?
The supervisor sends sexually inappropriate material via the internet to employees.
Is verbally and emotionally abusive(yes, this individual is a real person)
BUT they are going for major surgery. Do you do something that will get them released from their employment or do you wait and see if they come back changed for the better?

Is there any reason to think that the surgery will change this person's personality? I think I would leave it until after they have had surgery, but before they return to work, and notify someone about their behaviour.

Highly unlikely, but there are a few who are hoping that the behavior we have seen exhibited for the last while is due to the nature and severity of the upcoming surgery.
Thank you for the thought though.

First of all, I'm a Supervisor and I think that is absolutely horrible. I tend to be a type of friend to my group. I don't think the surgery will change this person, but I would not try to get them fired. I would talk to someone and see what they decide to do, whether it be speaking to them or if they decide to fire them. If you try to get him or her fired it may come back to haunt you. Hope everything works out for you.
